hospice service that helped care for Claire during the final months of her illness.

She had met Greg.

Evelyn.

Marianne.

And toddler Kaylee.

According to Greg, Judith had disappeared from their lives after Claire died.

He had not spoken to her in nearly five years.

Yet police had found her sitting at the kitchen table of Vance’s brother’s rural house when they arrested Tasha.

She had not arrived accidentally.

Her overnight bag was there.

So were copies of Claire’s medical Tasha?”

Nobody answered.

Because we did not know yet.

But the question reached farther backward than anything the investigation had uncovered so far.

Tasha had entered Greg’s life years after Claire died.

Judith Lane had been there before Claire’s death.

Before the remarriage.

Before the laundry room.

Before the yellow folder.

Before the pink sneakers.

And if Judith’s connection to Tasha was not new, then the story of how Tasha gained control over Kaylee’s family might have begun much earlier than anyone had imagined.

Click here to continue reading: PART 25: Judith Lane’s Connection to Tasha
